Should I is an interactive 3D Java program, distributed on the web, that renders leaked AOL search strings containing the phrase “should I” as organism-like structures floating in an underwater world which can be navigated with the mouse. The text snippets are treated as 3D objects and allowed to drift and rotate in space. More than 10,000 searches are included. Multiple searches made by one user appear as a single spiny clump.
